Saptak Talwar - Next Stop, European Challenge Tour 2025.

The New Delhi native marks his place amongst the best as he qualifies for the full season at the European Challenge Tour.


Talwar takes a giant leap - secures a full European Challenge Tour.

Greater Noida, India - Saptak Talwar, who has been a member of Jaypee Greens ever since he was born in 1999, has qualified for European Challenge Tour for 2025. The qualifying school is a three stage qualifier - the most challenging test of skill and grit. While Saptak got exemption from 1st stage due to his standing on the domestic circuit - PGTI, he directly played the 2nd stage qualifier at Isla Canela Links, Spain and qualified for the final stage after 72 Hole (4 days) score of -16. The final stage was a gruelling test of golf held over 6 days (108 Holes). Saptak finished with a score of (-9) to secure his Full Tour membership.  


Saptak has earlier been a member and played on PGA Tour Canada, Asian Tour and Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI). Saptak is currently supported by Rhoback – a leading apparel brand and Titleist – leading Golf equipment brand.

There are going to be about 30 Tournaments across Europe besides a few in South Africa where it all begins, Golf and two tournaments in India as well. They offer prize purses of US$300,000 – 500,000 and a ladder to grow further. The top 20 finishers at the end of the season earn the coveted DP World Tour cards. 


“Challenge Tour provides me with the platform to play on a world stage and elevate my world ranking, which will help me in playing for India at the 2028 LA Olympics.” said Talwar.


Before turning pro, Saptak, as an Amateur, played collegiate golf in the USA and has five (5) wins on Division-I NCAA.
